Olive groves
Our olive groves breathe the aroma of the sea while anchored to the ancient lands cherished by the Etruscans

The olive oil mill
The olive mill is designed and run by our family so that there is a meticulous attention to every detail
In Tuscia, situated between rugged volcanic slopes and limestone flatlands, the Extra Virgin Olive Oil Cerrosughero is born
Cerrosughero owes its name to cork oak woods that covered these hills. We are located a few kilometers from Tuscany, in Tuscia, at 300 m asl in a hilly terrain north-east of Canino.
The roots of the olive trees cling to this land with which they have forged a thirty-year bond.
Many years ago, this was a traditional farm, dedicated to livestock farming, where olive groves flanked pastures and fields of grain. In the 1990s, I returned to these lands and realized... the true inclination. I made room for those Caninese cultivar olive trees that the Etruscans already they knew and cultivated and I approached the noble art of crushing. They accompanied by passion and obstinacy, obstacles, but also satisfactions: the recognitions of food critics and the choice renewed year after year by many customers. Today I share the love for olive trees with my daughter Claudia and my son-in-law Marco. Together we carry on a A family project rooted in the Canino area, with an eye to the future.
