Olive groves

Our olive groves breathe the aroma of the sea while anchored to the ancient lands cherished by the Etruscans

The olive oil mill

The olive mill is designed and run by our family so that there is a meticulous attention to every detail

In Tuscia, situated between rugged volcanic slopes and limestone flatlands, the Extra Virgin Olive Oil Cerrosughero is born

Cerrosughero owes its name to a wood of cork oaks that covered the hill. We are a few kilometers from Tuscany, in Tuscia, at 300 m asl in a hilly terrain north-east of Canino.

The roots of the olive trees cling to this land with which they have forged a thirty-year bond.

“Many years ago this was a traditional company, linked to livestock, where olive groves flanked pastures and expanses of cereals. In the 90s, I returned to these lands and I sensed their true inclination. I made room for those Caninese olive trees that the Etruscans already knew and cultivated and I approached the noble art of pressing. The passion and obstinacy, the obstacles, but also the satisfactions accompanied me: the acknowledgments of the gastronomic criticism and the choice renewed year after year by many customers. Today I share the love for olive trees with my daughter Claudia and my nephew Giovan Battista. "
